SwipeBids.com – Absolute Scam, No Refund at all

So in previous entries, I’ve documented my refund procedures.

They approved it, but said they’d have to mail a check, due to ‘technical issues’. I never received it, so I logged back into their chat and was told they cannot mail a check either, to contact my bank for refund.

He (owner) gets away with the cash, and our bank(s) are forced to refund our money. Can anyone say scam?

Luke: I submitted all of the refund request documentation, it was approved, but they said they'd have to mail a check, due to technical issues, and I'd have it by the first week of August
Justin: Ok, how may I assist you?
Luke: I have yet to receive the check
Justin: I apologize for the inconvenience that you are experiencing in obtaining your refund. We have made every effort possible to process a refund, but due to credit card regulations we have been prevented from issuing your refund by cheque and are unable to refund through our merchant account. At this point, our only recommendation available is to have you contact your bank and ask them to process the refund to your credit card.
Luke: So you guys scammed us?
Justin: Sorry, there are some technical issue, that restrict us from issuing a refund from our end.
Justin: Please dispute the charge with your bank.
Luke: so it was a scam?
Luke: why else would your credit card services company drop you like that?
Justin: SwipeBids is most certainly not a scam. Though given how great some of our bargains are, I can understand why you might be suspicious. We are a company that sells products directly to consumers after they have won one of our auctions. Because of the high volume of sales we have and the income we generate through bids, we are able to let people purchase products at a much lower cost than normal retail. And because we are the ones shipping the products, we have much more control over the process – unlike other auction sites that let people sell their own products. I hope this clarifies your concern.
Luke: scam
Justin: Sorry, but there is nothing we can do from our side. Pleas contact your bank.
Luke: what a joke
